Description
An aluminium block has to be extruded and skive machine is used to create thin fins on the aluminium block. Aging would be done after fin skiving is completed to achieve different tempers (e.g. T5, T6, etc). Various kinds of secondary machining, such as drilling, milling and tapping shall follow with different types of surface treatments.
Dimensions;
A. Fin height: ≤ 100mm
B. Fin gap: 0.2mm ≤ X ≤ 6.0mm
C. Width: ≤ 1000.0mm
D. Length: ≤ 4000.0mm
E. Fin thickness: 0.1mm ≤ X ≤ 2.5mm
COMPARISON BETWEEN SKIVE FINS AND OTHER HEAT SINKS
- Due to the tonnages limit of extrusion machine, the width of the extrusion heat sink is limited in a standard of range. On the other hand, Skive Fins Heat Sink can be processed to unlimited width.
